- Fort, from the roof
This room has a double bed and a ceiling fan rather than air conditioning. The fort is not in this room’s window, but it is from the rooftop, which is open to everyone staying.
The hotel is on Fort Road, a short walk from the fort gate, and it is the reason a night in the desert works at all: somewhere to shower before you go, leave your bags while you are out there, and sleep the night your train arrives or leaves.
The figure on this page is a starting rate, not a quote. What you actually pay moves with your dates — October to March is the busy half of the year in Jaisalmer — so tell us the nights and we send the real number the same day, in writing.

This list is the hotel, not this room. Per-room detail beyond bed, cooling and view has never been published, so we will not print it here. Ask and we will tell you exactly what is in the room you are looking at.
Good to know
The things people ask before they book.
Is this the price I will pay?
It is where this room starts. What you actually pay depends on your dates and how many of you there are, and Jaisalmer prices move a long way between October and March. Ask and you will have the real figure the same day, in writing, before you commit to anything.
Can we stay here and do a desert camp?
That is what most people do. The hotel is where the desert night starts and finishes — shower, drop your bags, go out, come back, shower again. Say so when you ask and we will price both together.
Where exactly is it?
Fort Road, Dhibba Para, Jaisalmer, Rajasthan 345001. A short walk from the fort gate, and about ten minutes from the railway station and the bus stand.
Do you hold luggage?
Yes, free, while you are out on a camp trip — and there is a room and a shower to use before you go and when you get back.
While you are here
The room is the easy part.
Forty kilometres out of town there is a part of the Thar the day tours do not reach. Everyone who stays here goes; most of them say it was the reason they remember Jaisalmer.
Rates and dates
Ask, and you’ll have it today.
Tell us the nights and how many of you. You will get the rate in writing the same day, and if the room you asked about is gone we will tell you which one is closest rather than let you find out on arrival.
